Pop Fiction rocks the house at Tamera Mowry
and Adam Housley's Wedding
May 15, 2011 - The Yountville Marketplace, Yountville, CA

When TV stars Tamera Mowry (ABC's "Sister Sister") and Adam Housley (Fox News) planned their dream wedding, they searched high and low for the perfect band to entertain their guests. And who did they choose? Pop Fiction of course!

Tamera and Adam's wedding, designed and coordinated by Hollywood's most elite wedding and event designer Mindy Weiss, was nothing short of spectacular. The Yountville Marketplace was transformed into a lavish red carpet event with over 300 guests and plenty of celebrities on hand (and even a few paparazzi). Both People Magazine and The Style Network covered the wedding and mentioned Pop Fiction in their stories (see below right).

Pop Fiction, all decked out in black and pink, took the stage at about 9 PM in the barrel room and played two long sets of Tamera and Adam's personally hand-picked favorite songs. Pop Fiction kept the dance floor jam-packed the entire night with their usual blend of 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s dance hits and crowd pleasers. Midway thru the first set, the newly married Tamera joined Pop Fiction on stage and sang "Don't Stop Believing" (see video below), followed shortly by her new husband Adam who sang "Sweet Caroline", and then later gave an impromptu cowbell solo as his friends cheered "more cowbell!"

The wedding was a huge success, and definitely a night to remember. A big thanks to the happy couple Tamera and Adam for choosing Pop Fiction for their very special day!

Pop Fiction entertains a crowd of 10,000 in San Francisco
May 25, 2011 - San Francisco City Hall

Pop Fiction was honored to be chosen as a featured act at
San Francisco's conference for travel professionals in May 2011. Better know as the "SF Pow Wow", this event spanned many days and treated thousands of travel professions to a real taste of San Francisco culture, locations, and excitement, while showcasing San Francisco's top entertainers and event planners.

The final night of the Pow Wow was held in and around San Francisco's historic City Hall building. Pop Fiction played the final finale show on a custom-built stage high atop the steps of City Hall. The band was accompanied by a dazzling large-scale video projection on the back walls of City Hall, the dropping of several thousand glowing beach balls from the windows above, and a series of confetti cannons perfectly synchronized to Pop Fiction's music. It was definitely a night to remember, and
Pop Fiction was proud to be part of it. (see the video)
